The Umpires Association is committed to supporting all those volunteers who take up the challenge of umpiring. Modern hockey can be dynamic and fast pace thanks to our fabulous playing surfaces. Games have 2 umpires who must work co-operatively providing a safe and consistent environment. To enable this to happen mentoring is available to umpires across all grades. In the coming weeks some of our leading umpires are about to provide side-lines guidance and support to Junior and trainee umpires.
