Development Program

What is the Progam?

WHA will deliver weekly U16 Development trainings in term 1 and term 2. These trainings are open for players of all abilities and intended for all players aspiring to play representative hockey. Participants will be training in small groups working on individual skill development. Trainings will have an emphasis on basic skill, advanced techniques, generic principles of play and decision making. The program starts on Monday 20 February 2023.

As part of this program participants also have the opportunity to be selected for the U16 Tournament, 10-13 July 2023, in Hamilton. The July tournament is meant as an extension of the program, and will come at an additional cost. WHA aspires to have all players participate in the tournament, but cannot guarantee participation in the tournament.
