Postponement of Special General Meeting (SGM)
Dear Members,
We wish to inform you that the Special General Meeting (SGM) originally scheduled for 16 July 2025 has been postponed.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider and vote on a proposed resolution regarding the adoption of a Constitution for the Association, in compliance with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
The postponement has been made to ensure that all community feedback is thoroughly reviewed, and that members have adequate opportunity to consider these changes.
The revised version of the proposed Constitution will be made available on our website in due course. We are extending the timeline to allow for further consideration, and will update the community once a new date for the rescheduled Special General Meeting has been confirmed..

Notice of Special General Meeting (SGM)
Dear Members,
In accordance with Clause 23(c) of the Waikato Hockey Association Constitution, notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Association will be held as follows:
Date: Wednesday, 16 July 2025
Time: 6pm
Venue: Gallagher Hockey Centre, Innes Common, Hamilton
The purpose of this meeting is to consider and vote on a proposed resolution regarding the adoption of a Constitution for the Association, that complies with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. The final version of the proposed Constitution is available on our website for your review and is now open for community consultation and feedback.
Please provide feedback to the WHA Board by 9 July 2025 by email whaboard@waikatohockey.org.nz
Please note: The agenda for the meeting, including the proposed resolution, will be circulated no later than Wednesday, 2 July 2025, in accordance with Clause 23(b)(iv).
Only the business specified in this notice will be considered at the SGM, as per Clause 23(c)(iii)(ii).
Each Division may exercise its voting rights through named delegates, as outlined in Clause 24(b).
We encourage all affiliated Clubs, Schools, Divisions, Life Members, Associate Members, and Board Members to attend and participate in this important meeting.
