Farewell to Stuart Pitu

July will mark the end of an era. It is with great regret that we announce the leaving of Stuart Pitu.

Since Stu began his role as development officer in 2016 he has become the face of Waikato Hockey. Whether it was on a Saturday morning with Rainbow Hockey, any given Rep tournament, or our development programs and camps; Stu was always the friendly face and the fountain of knowledge that our coaches and players were looking forward to see. Over the years Stu has educated many of our coaches, he has ignited a passion for hockey into the lives of many new hockey players, and he has developed some of our greater talents.

Stu’s outgoing and energetic personality will be missed and we wish him all the best in life wherever this new chapter may bring him. We look forward to continuing to see Stu down at the turf.
