We’re excited to welcome Sonja Rennie as the newest member of our Waikato Hockey Development team. Sonja brings a wealth of experience in coaching and mentoring young athletes, with a strong background in the primary and intermediate hockey space. Her passion for developing players both on and off the field, along with her dedication to fostering teamwork and confidence in young athletes, makes her a fantastic addition to our staff.

Sonja has worked extensively with school-aged teams, supporting players at all levels and helping them grow their skills through structured coaching, positive encouragement, and a focus on fun and fundamentals. We’re thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the impact she’ll have across our programmes.
