Umpire Coach Course

Umpire Coach Course
Thursday 20th April, 6.30pm
Attend in person at the WHA Pavilion or Online
Delivered as part of the Waikato Hockey Umpire Academy Pathway.
By the end of the course, participants will understand:
  • What an umpire fundamentally needs
  • The Moving, Thinking Communicate Framework
  • Coaching Styles – Support, Direct, Challenge
  • Building an Umpire’s Profile – Confidence and Capability
  • Umpire Review Sheets
This Course is the first Accreditation of Four within the Academy’s Umpire Coach Development Pathway, and includes both Theory and Practical elements.
Participants who complete the course will receive an official Umpire Coach Accreditation including a Certificate and Badge.
