Yesterday Declan finished up his role as Waikato Hockey’s CEO, where he has been chief for the past 12 years. He will be missed around the centre – though we hope to still see him on the turf and side-line!
On Saturday night, the Board presented Declan with an award for his contributions to Waikato Hockey. Ethan Hohneck also presented Declan with a maori taonga pounamu on behalf of Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Hockey for all the support Declan and Waikato Hockey had given to them.
We wish Declan all the best for his new venture.
