The Junior Division (JD) is responsible for the Primary, Intermediate and Secondary Schools Winter Competition.
Mini begins on the: 3rd of May
Mini no Play: 31 May (Kings Bday), 21 June (Matariki) 5 and 12 July (School Holidays)
Mini Ends: 30 August
Intermediate begins on the: 2nd of May
Intermediate No Play: 30 May (Kings Bday), 20 June (Matariki) 4 and 11 July (School Holidays)
Intermediate Ends: 29 August
Secondary Begins: Monday 5th May, Tuesday 6th May, Wednesday 7th May
Secondary No Play: Monday 2nd of June (Monday Only)
Secondary Ends: Monday 18th August, Tuesday 19th August, Wednesday 20th August

It is very rare for hockey to be cancelled, as hockey is played on an artificial surface. Sometimes the turf can experience flooding but does drain away quickly once the rain stops.
Cancellation notifications will appear on the homepage of the website and a message on our Facebook page.
