Intercity Finals Day – This Saturday at Gallagher Hockey Centre
Waikato Hockey Association is proud to host the Intercity Finals Day at Gallagher Hockey Centre on Saturday, 9th August. This exciting event will see top teams from Tauranga, Rotorua, Whakatāne, and Waikato take to the field for their final Intercity matches of the season.
The day will begin with a series of seeding games as teams battle it out for their final placings. The competition will build towards the two marquee matches of the day — the Women’s Final at 1:30pm and the Men’s Final at 3:30pm. For more game details head here
Waikato will be proudly represented by Collegians in the Men’s Final, as they look to defend home turf in what promises to be a thrilling contest.
With many of these players preparing for the upcoming National Hockey Championships (NHC), spectators can expect a showcase of high-paced, high-intensity hockey featuring some of the region’s finest talent.
