Covid Update 19 Aug 2021

There is no hockey during Level 4 (18th – 20th August). WHA (in line with HNZ) are suspending all hockey for this weekend as well, 21st and 22nd August (including Mini and Club).

Waikato Hockey has made the hard decision to cancel Mini Hockey scheduled for Saturday 21st August. Teams need time to organise themselves and notice given to players, WHA believe doing this on Friday after the government announcement is too late for communications to filter to all teams and players.

Please follow all COVID protocols , stay safe and hopefully we can get through this lockdown with minimum of interruptions.

GHC will be closed and unavailable till further notice. This includes casual hit arounds and practices.
