WHA is excited to present our newly designed local umpiring shirts. WHA is looking forward to growing and strengthening our umpiring community.

This new process and distribution of umpires shirts will begin with Club and Secondary umpires. The WHA process and conditions are below.

Ryan or Ned will hand these out to umpires who sign up to be part of the WHA umpires group, follow and meet all the expectations. These umpires will be given an umpiring logbook to track their umpiring.

As part of the WHA umpires group, these umpires agree to:

• Be available to umpire 15/20 weeks in the appropriate grades
• Partake in mentoring 5 times during the season
• Keep logbook up to date

With these conditions being met, WHA will provide:

• A new WHA umpiring shirt
• A pathway suited to individuals umpiring
• Opportunities to develop and grow umpiring skills
• Remuneration for travel for games appointed by WHA
