Waikato Hockey Association’s new Acting CEO

The Waikato Hockey Association Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Webber as Acting Chief Executive Officer for Waikato Hockey Association (WHA). Effective 1st August 2022, Craig will step into the role that was held by former CEO Declan Wyndham-Smith who recently left WHA earlier this year.

Craig has been in and around Waikato Hockey since the early 2000’s both playing hockey, coaching and managing teams, and being involved with his family playing their hockey here at WHA.

Craig has spent the last 15 years growing his business, Total Help, where he grew the company to 16 happy staff members and many clients. In 2021 Craig had stepped away from his business, Total Help, due to a number of personal reasons, and has been looking for a new challenge in life to focus his passion for community sport on. Total Help has been a sponsor of a number of hockey related fixtures and teams.

Along with being a people person, Craig also has an astute Strategic Business Mind relating to business growth and development, development of staff, and general success of a business.
Keep an eye out for Craig in and around Waikato Hockey. He is very approachable, energetic, and enthusiastic. He is hard miss.

Welcome aboard Craig.
