Small Sticks Coaching Workshops

Hockey New Zealand have recently released two new workshop packages for regional delivery by RDM’s. These workshops, mainly through practical examples, will provide information and techniques for coaches to feel confident to coach players from the ages of 5 to 12 years. Suitable footwear for grass field activities will be required.

Small Sticks 5 – 8 Years

The first workshop is for coaches of players in the 5 – 8 year age group:

Date: Sunday 22^nd June 2008

Start time: 10:00am

Duration: 3 hours

Location: Sport Waikato Seminar Room

Cost: $45.00 ($20 will be paid by WHA Mini Board so you only pay $25.00)

You will receive a Folder with Content.

Small Sticks 9 – 12 Years

The second workshop is for coaches of players in the 9 – 12 year age group:

Date: Sunday 29^nd June 2008

Start time: 10:00am

Duration: 3 hours

Location: Sport Waikato Seminar Room

Cost: $45.00 ($20 will be paid by WHA Mini Board so you only pay $25.00)

You will receive a Folder with Content.

OR

$25.00 ($20 will be paid by WHA Mini Board so you only pay $5.00)

This option is only available for coaches who completed the 5 – 8 year course the previous week. You will only receive Content which you will add to your folder from the previous course.
