With just days before the start of the Beijing Olympics, we have updated our HNZ website to include the official team lists, match schedules and other pertinent information. Check out the following link for the latest information www.hockeynz.co.nz/beijingolympics2008

BLACK STICKS JOIN FORCES WITH GYNAECOLOGICAL CANCER

The Black Sticks Men and Women have teamed up to support a worthy NZ cause - Gynaecological Cancer.  Approximately one woman in NZ is dying every 24 hours of a Gynaecological cancer.   Both of these causes have financial challenges as they are the less publicised sports and cancers.  The centralisation of the Black Sticks has required many players to take a reduction in income or study, while gynaecological cancer patients face the struggle of having their income taken away from them on this heartbreaking journey.  A joint fundraiser has been developed to assist the Black Sticks Men and Women who are attending the Beijing Olympics and to support this worthy cause. For more information and to donate please click on the link below www.fundraisingonline.co.nz/BlackSticksHockey/
