Hockey New Zealand today announced the Men’s and Women’s squads to take part in trials in January 2007.

The Men’s trials will take place from 14 – 19 January 2007 in Auckland, from which a team will be named to play Holland in a three test series in Auckland on January 21 and 23, and in Tauranga on January 26. The National and Development Squads for 2007 will also be confirmed after the trials.

The Women’s trials will take place from 27 January – 4 February 2007 in Auckland. National and Development Squads for 2007 will also be confirmed after the trials.

Newly appointed Black Sticks Women’s Coach, Kevin Towns will be meeting with players over the next two weeks to discuss the International programme to Beijing and the commitment required.
