| The wearing of mouthguards at NZHF National Under 21, Under 18, Under 15, Secondary School, Hatch Cup and Collier Trophy tournaments was introduced at the beginning of 2000. Associations were advised of the above in a memo dated 5 February 2000. As indicated in the memo "it will become mandatory to wear mouthguards at all NZHF tournaments in the year 2001 and beyond". We wish to remind you that it is now Mandatory to wear Mouthguards at all NZHF tournaments. We ask that this directive be conveyed to all of your representative coaches, managers and players. Managers of each representative team are required to ensure the players are wearing mouthguards at NZHF tournaments. Written dispensation addressed to the NZHF CEO will be considered. |
