Semi- finalists for the Milne Cup were decided after today's final round robin games.


Homeschool Tigers play Te Rapa Dragons in the 2nd v 3rd Semi.

Rototuna Green edged out Hamilton West Pukekos and Hukanui Blasters to take 4th spot. All had 3 wins during the round robin competition, however Rototuna Green had beaten both Ham West and Hukanui in the round robin. Rototuna will play Southwell Comets who have gone through the round robin undefeated.


The semi-finals will be played on Sept 4th:

9.00 turf 2 a Southwell Comets v Rototuna Green

9.55 turf 2 a Homeschool Tigers v Te Rapa Dragons

Neutral umpires will be appointed.


September 4th is the final day for all 6 a side teams, so invite along your teachers, grandparents, aunties and  uncles. Break out the facepaint, balloons and banners.


On September 11th, all 8 a side teams will play, with the Milne Cup final at 9 a.m. Presentations to the Waikato rep teams will take place at 10 a.m

At 10.30 there will be a curtainraiser to the NHL, featuring invitation teams of Waikato's top secondary players.


Midlands then play North Harbour in this year's only home games in the National hockey League:

Men at 12.00 p.m. and women at 2 p.m.
