Schools offering mini hockey  - 2010

In the Waikato, Mini Hockey is organised through primary schools. Generally teachers co-ordinate teams, with parents providing the coaching.
Practices are held at lunch times or after school. The following schools have teams playing in the Saturday morning mini hockey competition at Gallagher Hockey Centre in Hamilton.

The Hillcrest Combined Hockey Club  also offers hockey for children from
Year 2-Year 8.

What if my school doesn't offer hockey as a winter sport?
If your child is keen to  play, but your school does not organise hockey teams, then contact the Waikato Hockey Assn Office Phone 838-0485 or email alastair.sharyn@xtra.co.nz
We may be able to help your school to organise & enter a team, or may be able to find a school team needing an extra player.
