2 Late replacements for Black Sticks Japanese Tour

 

Two late withdrawals from the Telecom Black Sticks team to tour Japan has opened the door for two new caps.

 

Sheree Phillips and Priya Bhikha both from Wellington replaced the injured Caryn Paewai and Pania Mateparae who withdrew for personal reasons.

 

Phillips and Bhikha were both members of the Academy women’s team that toured Australia in May 2003.

The team departed Japan on Saturday.

 

The three nations tournament starts on Tuesday 9 September.
