Subject: URGENT - Women Premier Hockey players required

Southern United urgently requires additional players to allow them to compete in the 2008 competition. It is important for Waikato Hockey that we retain a minimum of 4 premier women’s teams for 2008. Southern have obtained the services of an experienced provincial coach from South Africa and need a minimum of 5 committed players to complete their squad for 2008.
I encourage all clubs to circulate this to their women’s players and not to place barriers/pressure on any players that would like to take this opportunity. A critical mass of clubs at premier level is important to ensure that the overall standard of the competition can be retained.
