HOCKEY SEASON COMING TO AN END
A foggy Saturday morning saw the end of the winter hockey season for 6 a side teams, and regular competition for 8 a side teams. The top four 8 a side teams saw a battle of town and country - Ngahinapouri Strikers defeated Southwell Raptors for one place in the final of the Milne Cup, while in the other semi-final, Hamilton West Pukekos defeated Morrinsville Marvels.
On Saturday Sept 10th there will be an 8 a side closing tournament, presentations to Waikato Representative Teams, and the final of the Milne Cup.
Only a few weeks to go, and winter hockey will once again be over.

National Hockey League flyers PDF>> - we would love to see all your players given a copy of this. A chance to see some of our local talent, as well as some top intermational players
End of season feedback form PDF>>- we are keen to hear from coaches, managers and parents so copy off and return as many as you like
Here's hoping for a few more sunny Saturdays, with just two weeks of regular competition left, then the 8 a side finals day on Sept 10th.
