Hi mini hockey enthusiasts

I don't know if you have been following the progress of the Midlands hockey teams in the National Hockey League in Auckland this week, but with one round to play, the women are in 2nd place, and men are in 3rd.

They are likley to win their games tomorrow, which could see them both through to the finals on Sunday, if results of other Saturday matches go their way.

If you are looking for a day out, there will be some fantastic hockey action on offer at Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga over the weekend, and I'm sure the Waikato-based Midlands players would love your support. Paint the park orange!
