St Paul’s Collegiate School is responsible for all Health and Safety on this campus. The School is committed to ensure that the hockey turf will be used in a safe manner. Prior to use of Turf each school and /or club must agree to the following terms and conditions of use and do their utmost to ensure that students or members follow these rules at all times:

 

1.     Car parking: ONLY the designated car park south of the Turf and east of the Chapel is to be used by hockey players, coaches and their supporters.

2.     ONLY AUTHORISED PERSONS ARE TO USE THE TURF;

3.     During any time that the turf is in use, there shall be at least one adult designated as the supervisor who will supervise the turf at all times;

4.     Only those persons who are authorised directly by the School may operate the lights, spray guns or pumps. Those persons who are not part of either the St Paul’s staff, coaching team or Spotless Services must first arrange to meet with staff – contact phone numbers are as follows:

5.     The turf is not to be used unless watered first and at least two hourly thereafter;

6.     Only appropriate sports footwear is permitted on the turf;

7.     Any grass, mud or dirt must first be cleaned from shoes before entry;

8.     No food is to be consumed on the turf;

9.     No dogs or other animals are allowed on the turf;

10.  Any blood spilt on the turf must be cleaned off immediately and sprayed with the appropriate cleaner;

11.  No swearing or use of other profanities;

12.  Ablutions: Only those ablutions provided are to be used, in the short term these will be portaloos on the south east corner.

13.  None of the residences or boarding houses is either to be approached or entered at any time by visitors to the school, unless first authorised by the Headmaster.

14.  In the event of anyone becoming aware of damage to any of the School property the office is to be notified immediately, (leave voice message if after hours) so that repairs and maintenance can be carried out.

15.  Due respect is to be given to all parts of the school campus, and compliance with all parking restrictions and traffic signs.

16. All bookings are to be made through the Waikato Hockey Association , Innes Common, PO Box 820, Hamilton – telephone 838 0485, fax 839 3629
17. Rental fees will be equivalent to those charged by Waikato Hockey Association for the use of Innes Common and will be levied by WHA, unless a prior arrangement has been made with the Headmaster.
