Retiring Hockey Regional Development Manager Bruce Rosemergy won a prestigious "Service to Sport" Award along with seven(7) other recipients dedicated to their sports.

400 guests turned out for an exciting night at the Mystery Creek Convention Centre for the 2007 Waikato Regional Sports Awards Night, sponsored by the Perry Foundation, Gallagher's, Wintec, Porter Group, Konica Minolta, and Steven Saunders & Associates.

Under television lights, Guest Master of Ceremonies Frankie Stevens did an excellent job in his official duties and entertaining the guests with jokes and songs. The event was well supported Hockey Staff, Executive, Life Members, and players.
